Aimee Kilbourn, Management Consultant
Blending a psychology and commerce degree specializing in the tourism industry with an extensive background in providing private companies and public sector agencies with in depth analysis & consultation regarding financial feasibility of large investment projects, Aimee brings to blue ridge the ability to review an organization’s financial and operational processes. Some of her prior work involved examining the socio-economic and municipal financial effects of environmental policies and waste management operations and economic feasibility studies in the tourism and recreation sectors. With this broad range of knowledge she is able to address key factors in operation efficiencies and recommend customized action plans. Linking an organization’s overall financial position with their particular management style, Aimee advises and creates customized effective management programs that embrace innovative leadership methods with unique communication tools to enable management to accomplish their larger goals.
A deep compassion for nature and the environment, Aimee also brings her own insight from a lifetime of personal experience as a competitive athlete. She understands how personal coaching, mentoring and good leadership are all intrinsic to meeting professional and personal accomplishments and are also part of the path to accomplishing a day’s work. Working on several boards as a director in the not-for-profit sector and extensive contribution to community endeavours, Aimee has gained a deep insight into how business goals and visions are not exclusive to the bottom-line.
